To kickoff our "300,000 Hours for the Next 300" service challenge we partnered with Hoffman Early Learning Center for a day of service. Over 150 people from the community joined us for the beginning stage of transforming the outdoor space at the school.

WWL-TV Cast and crew VOLUNTEERS AT MRS. GLORIA's GARDEN
On Make A Difference Day, we managed WWL-TV volunteers at Mrs. Gloria's Garden. They spent the afternoon building rain barrel stands, painting chairs, constructing a trellis for grapevines, updating the tire fence, and much more.

Derek Jeter's Turn 2 Foundation Volunteers with Handson new orleans at local middle school
Over a hundred high school students from Tennessee and New York City traveled to New Orleans in August as part of their "2017 Social Change Project." We organized their day of service at Einstein Charter Middle in New Orleans East where students painted the theater, school offices, and multiple classrooms, built white board stands and trophy cases for the schools academic and athletic achievements.
NEW PLAYGROUND OPENS FOR CHILDREN IN HOLLYGROVE
HandsOn New Orleans led over 200 volunteers from Morgan Stanley, Choice Foundation, Dunbar Elementary, and the community in building a playground at Dunbar Elementary in Hollygrove.
