WWL-TV Cast and crew VOLUNTEERS AT MRS. GLORIA's GARDEN

On Oct. 28's Make A Difference Day, we managed WWL-TV volunteers at Mrs. Gloria's Garden. They spent the afternoon building rain barrel stands, painting chairs, constructing a trellis for grapevines,  updating the tire fence, and much more.

"It’s such an amazing space and I think in an area that really could use some sprucing up right now and we are excited to be part of that," said Sheba Turk, Eyewitness Morning News Anchor.

Derek Jeter's Turn 2 Foundation Volunteers with Handson new orleans at local middle school

Over a hundred high school students from Tennessee and New York City traveled to New Orleans in August as part of their "2017 Social Change Project." We organized their day of service at Einstein Charter Middle in New Orleans East where students painted the theater, school offices, and multiple classrooms, built white board stands and trophy cases for the schools academic and athletic achievements.
