Volunteer Bunkhouse 

HandsOn New Orleans maintains a Volunteer Bunkhouse for visiting volunteers. Come stay with us during your trip to the Crescent City!

Here are answers to some commonly asked questions:

Where is the bunkhouse located?

The Volunteer Bunkhouse is centrally located at 3321 Banks St. in Mid-City, only three blocks from the Canal St. streetcar line that runs from the cemeteries all the way to the French Quarter and downtown.

How much does it cost and how do I pay?

The nightly rate at the bunkhouse is $35 per person. This cost includes a bunk bed, showers, a full kitchen, and basic healthy food items for breakfast and lunch each day. *Note: During peak Spring Break booking season in March and April, the nightly rate at the bunkhouse is $40 per person.

If you need to make a payment for the bunkhouse, please visit our Donate page. Once you have clicked the "Donate" button and entered your payment information, please make a note in the "add special instructions to the seller" box that you are making a bunkhouse payment.
